The Vista Codec Package 5.0.6 doesn’t contains a media-player and doesn’t associates filetypes, but it allows you to use any media player to play DVD´s, movies and video clips such as quicktime, realmedia, avi, mpeg, Flv, swf, wmv, etc. This package contains QuickTime v7.1.3 components with the tray icon permanently disabled.. The default install install support for the following other languages; Chinese Simplified/Traditional, Japanese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Polish and Turkish. The 5.0.6 version does improve OGG support, update ffdshow rev 2537, update Gabests filters rev 940, and minor revisions.
